Dr. Shirley Knox Benton is an award- winning educator, author, motivational speaker and now, an inventor.

Like most creators of new or improved products, she conceived of the “P-PUFF” as a result of personal experience and the need for an alternative to bed pans or adult diapers.

To fulfill this need, Dr. Benton invented the “P-PUFF”. This product can be used in hospitals, rehabilitation centers, and for any mobility impaired person. This patent-­pending product design will be available for retail sales soon.

Dr. Benton has retired from the public school system and is spends her time as a motivational speaker, published author, and hat model.

Her hobbies and interests include reading, writing, traveling, playing the piano and riding her pink bicycle.
